Admission Procedures
Application forms are available on request from the college office. Completed applications can be made to the college office from January to September 2012.
Application Requirements
All applications, postal or personal must include the following:
- Completed official application form.
- PPS Number
- Dept. of Education Pupil no. (applicable to students who have been in Full Time education since 1991).
- Copy of Examination Results or most recent education report.
- Two passport size photographs (non returnable).
Interviews
Interviews will take place on a date that will be published on our calendar.
Open Days
Our Open Day will afford you the opportunity to meet with staff and discuss all courses of study and to familiarise yourself with all technical facilities in all departments.
Admission Requirements
Places will be offered upon successful completion of interviews. This offer of a place will also be subject to all entry requirements of a particular course being satisfied in full. Admission to courses in St. Kevin's College is subject to acceptance of the Rules and Regulations of the CDVEC.
Please note: A government levy of €200 must be paid upon registration.
Registration Charge
Upon successful completion of interviews, students will be notified of the date by which a registration charge, payable to CDVEC, is to be paid. If a student fails to take up their place on a course, part of this charge may be refundable by applying in writing to the college office. Note: No Cash accepted. Postal/Money Orders, Bank Drafts or Cheques acceptable only.
Student Contract
Students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner appropriate to Further Education training. By registering on a course you are entering into a contract to aspire to excellence in all work practices, such as attendance, punctuality, behaviour and delivery of assignment work.
