Career Guidance
We aim to help people through some of the most difficult and interesting choices of their lives. This service is directed by Mr. Brian Comerford, a qualified and experienced Guidance Counsellor.
Philosophy
The philosophy of the Guidance Programme is pupil centred.An integral part of the Career Guidance and Counselling Programme involves , careers exhibitions, open days, individual career appointments, inviting guest speakers to the school etc.
Parental involvement in the Guidance process is encouraged and welcomed. Information evenings and other events are organised to develop links between home and school. Career Guidance and Counselling divides into two main areas, which may take place in the classroom setting or on an individual basis.
