Junior Cycle
St Kevin’s have recognised the importance of more applied subjects including Metalwork, Woodwork, Technical Graphics, Art and Home Economics.
The Programme is delivered over three years. All students studying for the Junior Certificate are enrolled for the Junior Certificate Schools Programme. The Junior Certificate School Programme has been designed to ensure that young people can benefit from their time in school and enjoy an enriched educational experience. This programme offers the student, school and staff extra supports.

Senior Cycle
The Leaving Certificate is the traditional terminal examination that the majority of Irish students sit. Many of the students of St. Kevin’s have gone on to Ireland’s top Universities or into coveted apprenticeships.
The staff in St Kevin’s realise the importance of the Certificate to the students and go the extra mile to assist pupils attain their best possible results. The following subjects are taught at Leaving Certificate in the College, the availability of subjects depends on resources available and demand.

Senior Cycle LCA
The Leaving Certificate Applied offers an alternative to students who are not suited to the traditional Leaving Certificate. It is a more practical based two year course which places a particular emphasis on preparation for work. Work experience is a significant aspect of the course.
Students are assessed in a variety of ways including interviews, written, oral and practical components. Students are awarded marks based on their attendance. The following subjects are currently on offer
